Remembering those who served

Today DH wanted to start a tradition with our boys. We took Bean to a national cemetery to pay tribute to those who have served in our military.

Happy Memorial Day.

Great tradition, Sunny.

Great idea; I'm very impressed, and I bet this will stay with the little Bean-ster for a long time. Great modeling, parents!

Moments and traditions of this nature always leave deep impact. It's commendable that you did so.

Nice pics (as always). The last one is too nice.

By the look on Bean's face, he seems to understand the gravity of the occasion. I, on the other hand, find a stroll through a cemetary to be very pleasant.

Danny looks appropriately somber for the occasion. Great idea!

Hi Sunny - thanks so much for the comment on my Bachelorette recap. Hope you're not dying from all of the rain here (I live south of Seattle - want sun NOW!)

Great photos! Your new camera, I assume. They're really beautiful.

What an awesome tradition, as a military member and a military family (my husband is deployed as we speak) I am grateful for those who truly appreciate the sacrifice that is made by those who faithfully serve our country.
