The hunt was held inside due to our temperamental weather. Here Bean gathers the goodies with Gamma, right before I accidentally nailed him in the face with the camera hanging around my neck. (Way to go, Mommy!) Well, he didn't cry too hard. Mostly.
He recovered quickly to sort through his loot. Winner: Dove chocolate eggs. Loser: Black jelly beans.
"Sure, I'll share my candy. Black jelly bean?"
Bean enjoyed seeing the Easter Bunny as he hopped around outside...
But being in the same room? Some things never change.
Good thing "Gamma hugs" keep the bunnies away.
And just for fun... here is my belly this morning at 37 weeks + 5 days. Yowza.

Well, that bunny is sort of creepy.
Catching up...
--Congrats on making it to full term with your little guys!!
--I hear from a veeeeeery reliable resource that April 6th is an AWESOME birthdate...so I'm still pulling for you to go into labor 24 hours before your c-section is scheduled. ;)
--Did you and DH like the "New Moon" movie?
--Loved the pics of beans on the slide and at the egg hunt.
--I'm with Kristina---the bunny is a little freaky looking, I don't think I would have wanted to sit on his/her lap either.
--Dove chocolate....mmmmmm....one of my favorites!
--Lovin' your pic...HOLY BELLY...WOW! Yay you!
i can't help but notice that your butt hasn't seemed to grow with your belly...i might be slightly jealous!!!!
seriously, you look amazing! congrats on full term! as a preemie mom, i know what a HUGE accomplishment that is!
I keep hoping that I have about two weeks til I meet Sunflower since I'll be full--term then, but then I see you at nearly 38 weeks (YAY!) and realize that you can't predict when labor will start.
I'm excited that you told me about MOMS groups, I can't wait to join one. How soon after his birth did you join? I'm so eager to meet new people I might take him when he's 12 hours old, lol ;)
Little dude looks like he had a blast! And that bunny, in all fairness, is a little scary! :)
I totally agree with Bean... I would share my black jelly beans long before I would consider sharing dove chocolate!
And I totally agree with Alana... Holy Belly! You are a superstar!
1 more day and you've officially beaten me, WAY TO GO!!! Love that big belly, definitely one for the memory books! And Danny is a smart kid, I think the Easter Bunny is kinda creepy.
That's some belly!
I'd like to tell you something by email if you'll drop me a line.
Seriously? How are you even standing up-right?
You know I love you.
Al
You are a teeny tiny person EVERYWHERE besides that gigantic baby bump you're sporting there. And even THAT isn't as impressive as I think YOU think it is. You're little. Let's face it. I'm sure you're really feeling little right now too. HA!
I love the black jellybean commentary. Hilarious.
Have you considered the possibility that you may just remain pregnant? Maybe these guys are not coming out (without a fight, that is!)
I always said that if I hadn't been induced, my son would still be in there...
Congrats on making it all the way! You deserve a medal!
i agree with everyone else, c, you are ALL belly! albeit quite the belly but i dont think you have gained an ounce elsewhere!! You go girl!! :)
The first words out of Jeramy's mouth when he saw your photo were "C's belly looks ridiculous!" And the rest of you looks tiny. Honestly I'm amazed you can even stand! Of course I mean all of this in the nicest way possible. Thank goodness there is no way this will go past the 7th. I'm pretty sure you've got 20 lbs of twins in there.
Jillian did pretty well at her first egg hunt yesterday. At least you remembered your camera unlike myself. There was no bunny. I'm pretty sure she'd have the same reaction as Danny.
What an awesome baby belly!!
I'm hoping we get to partake in some Easter egg fun this weekend too. I love jelly beans and chocolate - I mean, I'm SURE my daughter will love jelly beans too. ;)
Wooohooo look at all that fun Bean had! I have to agree with Bean about grandma hugs and black jelly beans.
Your bell looks fantastic! Congrats on making it past April fools, you amaze me!
Have a wonderful Easter!
*HUGS*
Wow, you look like you haven't put any weight on except for in the belly. Must be some good-sized twins awaiting you! Congrats on full termness.
Your belly looks kind of painful!! How in the world are you wearing jeans even maternity ones. I can't stand to wear jeans at all at this point. Just so uncomfortable.
I was wondering if you were still hanging in there.
Too cute Bean with the Easter bunny.
At least you fit into clothes! When I was 37+ weeks with twins I couldn't even wear maternity clothes!
You look great!
Carol

You're adorable, Bean's adorable, your mom's adorable, and I'm so glad you're all smiling and healthy, but seriously... bring on the babies!
Oh my word, that belly is insane, girl! And the rest of you still so tiny, it's truly incredible. You are gonna look amazing just a few weeks after these guys come out and I will not hate you even a tiny bit!
I can't wait to see pics of these handsome lil' men! If they are half as cute as their big brother, you are in for it! :)
Give your mom my best,
