You know what would really cheer me up?

If you would help me celebrate International Delurking Week.

We all lurk on other people's blogs for various reasons, and this is the time of year for us to come clean and show some love. If you would do me the favor of stepping out of the woodwork this week and giving a little wave in my comment section, it would make me smile!

I would love to hear something about you, why you follow, that I still look amazingly hot even as I start growing hairy and lumpy on bedrest. Or you can ponder this question instead: "If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?" I've always wondered.

Oh, and if you prefer not to participate, some homemade cookies would also cheer me up. Chocolate is recommended but not necessary.

Of course you look amazingly hot! Gorgeous! Stunning! A perfect 10! And if you don't believe me, ask your dh... I'm sure he'd concur.

:)

Sending comfortable and cookie vibes your way!

I'm so glad to hear that you're home and well! I would love to bake you some cookies! Imagine some chocolate crinkles if you will- doesn't that sound delicious and fudgy right about now? (I can't really bake here nor can I send them internationally - well I could but they'd just be shadows of their former selves and hardly worth consuming!) I don't think I'm a lurker here - I talk too much!
Happy days at home!

Well, I'm not delurking, but thought I would leave you some comment love anyway.

Dear Sunny:

glad to know that you are doing great.

Why blogging? Blogging is one way of self-expressions, if some like and enjoy, that's a pleasure.

Why following? I surf many blogs, I like 70-80% of them, I will tell them that I liked their blogs because of their poems, their love for animals, or the demonstration of their loving families.

Relationship is mutual, you do not need to know how a computer works to be able to use it, I do not need to know how some people take fantastic photo shots or write jokes the way they do to be able to enjoy it, I read, think, and decide I like it and want to come back to visit, thus I leave a note and an address of mine...

In case they did not respond, or don't want to make friends with me,
I would never care or upset, I never record or count how many comments I made each day...I give and did not really expect receive, thus I am happy.

For those who responded to me, I will respond back with similar energy and cheers...I feel good about these developing relationships and

especially when people share similar values or interests with me, my loneliness will reduce 90%.

Image that nobody talks to anyone else, we will end up isolated and information is useful when it is shared....

I send your hot, fresh, and sweet
banana muffins...enjoy.

"Does this couch make my ass look fat?" Heavens no Dear Sunny, you are a goddess. I follow because you're um pretty and um smart and um awesome and um...can I be your friend? Will you pick me first for jump rope at recess?

Hello! One of my resolutions is to actually comment, rather than what I normally do - start writing a comment, worry that it's not witty or good enough, get distracted, read something else, decide that it's too late to comment.

I am certain that you look amazingly hot, you'll have to post another pic. In any case, I follow you because your posts always make me laugh.

And we evolved from an ancestor of gorillas and chimpanzees. (Sorry, the science librarian can't leave a science question just hanging out there.)

I think I may have posted a comment a while ago on your blog, but thought I would say "hello again!." My husband and I are also expecting twins - we are about 28 1/2 weeks along. I've been following your blog for some time and I'm so happy to hear you are at home, resting, and your cervix is holding strong!

Sending you lots of strength to get through bed rest...

I'm happy to delurk! I just found your blog (can't remember how), but I'll be following you along from now on, and cheering for you and the babies!

Yummmmmm....cookies. :-) Isn't de-lurking week the BEST!

Oh. And you look hot.

I'm a lurker on your blog 'cause I don't have a google account to be an official follower. :) You know me as Jenzy - I follow you b/c our toddlers are the same age and we are both preggers again! Of course I'm only baking one. I'd be happy to send you some cookies, but they'd probably get stale on the trip across the country, so you'll have to accept some virtual double-chocolate chips from me. :)

MrsSpock said...

I can only send you imaginary cookies, but they are some very tasty snickerdoodles.

Why I follow? We have children the same age, and are fellow stirrup-queens. But you knew that ;)

Random here, proud owner and runner of Natural-parents and fellow blogger. I didn't know what was going on with you until a few days ago, and I haven't seen pictures, but I can't imagine you look anything less than perfect!

Welcome home!!! All of this drama. I am so glad you are home and that your mom is coming to the rescue. If you weren't such a long plane ride away I would love to help out. But perhaps I can? Email me with your snail mail address and I'll bake up some cookies to send to you! Let me know what kind you like!
Re: Delurking. I read your blog to keep up with the adventures of you, DH, and Bean. You're also a fabulously humorous writer. And hot too!

Elizabeth said...

Oh the bedrest...! I completely feel for you! Glad you are able to be home at least!

I lurk here because I enjoy your writing and the persona that comes through is someone I think I'd enjoy being friends with IRL!

Um, I'm delurking ;)

And I'll always think you are sexy (not in a creepy way) no matter how hairy or lumpy you get ;)

And I also think that you should use all this newfound 'free' time to joint facebook and get addicted to games such as farmville and cafe world!!

sending you some comfy couch vibes!!

Not delurking *obvi* but wanted to say hello and thinking of you while you are on your bedrest stint. How is the Bean doing? Send me an email and give me the scoop if you have time/energy!

Btw, if you are looking for something to get addicted to watching, try Big Love, Flight of the Conchords or for something light, Gilmore Girls or Psych! Highly recommend Netflix. *Hugs*

Guilty...I am definitely a lurker but have commented once but considering the fact that I have been reading your blog since the beginning that one time probably doesn’t count for much.
Why do I follow? Well, I first 'met' you on two week wait...we were in the clomid chicks board together...then you moved on to injectables and I dropped off the board when I found out that IVF was our only option. However, I still followed your story. I think it was good for me to see someone have a happy ending through all the trials of infertility. Once you started your blog I followed it 1.) Because it was exciting reading your post as you went through your pregnancy 2.) Once bean was born how could I stay away and miss all those cutie pie pictures of him 3.) I find your post funny and entertaining...I love your writing and your blog. 4.) I have actually gained valuable information from reading your blog like when you posted about the book Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child. I was sure to buy that book after I got pregnant and it is one of the best books I have read and has helped us get off on the right foot w/ our twins. 5.) I am so excited for you as you embark on this new journey as your bring your new babies into the world and will be able to relate to what you are experiencing as a twin mom for me I am minus the toddler w/ infant twins but can still relate to being a twin mom.
I would love to send you some chocolate cookies just tell me where to send them LOL :-)
I am sorry that you are on bed rest but happy to know that you and the boys are doing well. Wishing you an uneventful remainder of your pregnancy. The first few weeks are hard but it gets better and then it gets way better. My twins are 9 months old now and I am having a ball w/ them :-)

Aw man, somebody already answered the question about the apes! Oh well. I guess I'll just send virtual cookies instead.

On a related note, I highly recommend the book "Good Night Gorilla". The resemblance between gorillas and toddlers is really quite striking. Except for the part where the gorilla goes willingly to sleep at night.

Lisa said...

YAY for being home! You are fabulous as always, hang in there!

Humans are a different species that are similar; we didn’t evolve to make a better version of an ape. I hope you got those cookies!
