No news... is good news?

Another quickie! I have finally been reunited with my beloved laptop (and thus, all of you beloved friends) but somehow I am not able to catch up on everything like I thought I would be able to. I have read every comment, though -- and they were funny and touching and just what I needed. So thank you and know that I appreciate each of you!! (And if I owe you an email response, it will come soon I hope.)

I am in the hospital still, of course, but there hasn't been much testing to report on. They are monitoring for contractions 24/7 but I haven't really heard how the old ute's been acting (and I don't ask the nurses). Tomorrow morning I'll meet with the doc to discuss the results of the monitoring, possibly do another fFN test, and definitely get a look at my stupid cervix. (I'm beyond talking nice to it at this point.) Based on the whole picture in the morning, the doc will decide if I need to continue to be hospitalized or if I can be released to bedrest at home.

The best news right now, I suppose, is that nothing catastrophic has happened.

The worst news is that I am absolutely terrified that something catastrophic will happen.

Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers -- I will post tomorrow after I talk to the doctor.

ETA: To answer Red's questions, I am 25 1/2 weeks now. We would love to get to 35. Just around the corner, right? *sigh*

I can't believe how far behind I am on everything!!! Take care of yourself and I will be thinking positive cervical thoughts for you, which would be a strange thing to say to most people, but not you!

Fingers firmly crossed for good news tomorrow.

I couldn't find it on your blog (apart from looing back at previous posts and doing the math - which is not happening): How far along are you now? And how many weeks do they (realistically) want to get the boys to?

I'm just seeing all these latest little entries! My goodness!!! You are so in our prayers!!! Where can we send those homemade cookies? Things will be nuts here - moving, family coming, wedding, baptism, house - yikes! But believe me, I am so looking forward to making you cookies or a big ass cupcake as soon as
I can!!! Do you need some trashy novels? :) Food for thought - just went to the GA DMV today - nightmare (story for another day) - foreshadowing of US healthcare? Just be glad this all is happening now if it has to at all.... Thinking of you all!!! Love, Sarah

Good thoughts for you and the boys..but I know this sucks! Soon you will in your home resting out this time and out of the hospital.

Maybe someone else has already suggested/done this, but perhaps we all need to have a stern conversation with your cervix like we did for Carrie (Tubeless in Seattle)...

SO, listen up Sunny's cervix! You have to mellow out. You have another 10-ish weeks to go, so no wimping out now! You will be good and long at the next check and you WILL stay that way until the doctors say it's okay for those precious little boys to finish cooking.

In all seriousness, tho... my Beloved and I are sending prayers your way.

Geesh, that cervix of yours needs to *behave*! Hoping for good news from your doctor, and a good plan for getting you through the next 10 weeks with some health and sanity!

Hi there dear Sunny. Sending lots of love and support that everything is looking better today and that you'll get through this with flying colors. The bedrest will help get that cranky cervix on board, we need those little guys to percolate much longer. If you are stuck in the hospital much longer, my offer to visit and have games or lunch still stands. I will gladly keep you company no matter where your butt is currently parked. :-)

Rest, rest, rest! So good to hear from you! I'm happy to hear that things are relatively (?) quiet thus far. Quiet utes are good utes!

I just got caught up!!
Ugh. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry. I will definitely be keeping you in my prayers and thinking of you often. Hang in there and stay positive. No negative thinking!! No borrowing trouble. Got it?

Good.

Bed rest sucks. I've been there, done that. But I'm sure I don't have to say how good it is for the baby and WORTH IT. You can do it.
