Update from Mr. Sunny

Sunny wanted me to update everyone. She went in today for her regular OB appointment and found that her cervix was measuring 1.9 cm and minor contractions were continuing. They admitted her to the hospital immediately for at least 48 hours. They're going to try some additional medications and continue to monitor her over the next couple of days.

We appreciate all of the comments to the blog. I read them all to her tonight over the phone and it helps to know that people are thinking of her and the boys.

I'll get the laptop back in her hands soon so you'll hopefully get the real thing on the next post.

Thanks for your prayers and support.

Mr. Sunny

Am praying very hard for you and the babies......hoping you are next told of the contractions having ceased, and the cervix strengthening up.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh Sunny, you are on a bigger roller coaster than me right now. Thinking of you and hoping things get better really soon.
I know the hospital is no fun, but at least you are getting 24 hour monitoring right now which is the most important thing for you and the twins.

Hello- here from LFCA!

I'm a Seattle native now living in Southern California. I spent three months in the hospital when I was pregnant with my now 4-year-old daughter. These pesky cervixes (cervices?)!!!

Good luck to all of you!

Oh, Sunny and Mr. Sunny! This sucks! You tell those boys to stop jerking you around. If you let them start calling the shots now, they'll be impossible by the time their born, not to mention toddlers, and OMG, teens!

Seriously though, huge hugs and great big healthy vibes to all of you.

You were in my dream last night. You were just as pregnant as you are now, and I was mad that you only came to visit me for 2 days. How dare you. I think the dream meant that your cervix will be strong and the boys will be healthy, and that they will bake a little while longer. Thinking about you and praying for you. Hi "Mr. Sunny." Haha!

Oh Sunny, I'm so sorry you are having to go through all this stress! I'll be praying for everyone in your family and especially your little beans that they decide to stay put until 'fully cooked' as I like to say. Each day that you can get further is going to help the babies SOOOO much! Much love!!!!

Thanks Mr. Sunny. NOT the news I wanted to hear though! I might have to stop by and tell those little boys to shape up and stay put.

Just remember that good thoughts are coming your way from Japan. With the time difference, this means I'm on duty to worry and hope and pray for you even when you're asleep.
